Make Your Own Onion-Pepper Infused Vodka

House-infused vodkas are the secret ingredient to making a great martini. And it happens to be a piece-of-cake to make!

Pack your patience! While it's easy, it does require 14 days to infuse properly. Have no fear? Read on and you'll be making your own onion-pepper infused vodka soon enough. Here's that onion-pepper infused vodka recipe we promised:


  • 60+ oz glass jar with lid


Makes 1.75 liters

  • 1.75 liter vodka (we recommend UV Vodka)
  • .5 lb red bell peppers
  • .5 lb green bell peppers
  • .5 lb yellow onions
  • 2 oz jalapeños
  • .5 oz fresh rosemary sprigs
  • .5 oz fresh thyme sprigs

Pour vodka into a glass jar with a removable lid. Roughly chop peppers and onions and add to the glass jar with rosemary and thyme sprigs. Replace lid and let sit for 14 days. On day 15, remove the onions, peppers and herbs, strain your infused vodka then replace the lid to store.

Then, let the cocktail mixing begin!
